Liability waiver

By booking a class with Uncommon Haus, you are declaring that you are aware of your own health and physical condition. You understand that my participation in any exercise program may be injurious to my health, and are voluntarily participating in a physical activity.

Having such knowledge, you acknowledge this release, any representatives, agents and successors from liability for accidental injury or illness which you may incur as a result of participating in an Uncommon Haus exercise program. You assume responsibility for all possible risks associated and consent to participate in this program.

You agree to disclose any physical limitations, disabilities, ailments, or impairments which may affect your ability to participate in said program, before commencing any classes.

Intro offers

Intro offers are for new clients only. These are redeemable for group training within timeframe allocated, and no extensions or transfers are available. Booking is essential and classes are subject to availability, with capacity capped at 10, including members and new clients.

Please advise if you have any prior injury before commencing your intro offer so that we can take care of you.

Pause or cancellation of contract

Uncommon Haus requires cancellations of Personal Training appointments to be more than 12 hours before an appointment. After the 12 hour window, the client must pay the full fee of their appointment.

Group Training requires cancellations 8 hours before a Group Training class to ensure they are not charged, and to allow for any client on a waitlist to have notice of their booking - 8 hours provides sufficient notice for clients to set alarms for early morning sessions or prepare ahead of time for evening classes.

Cancellations of any contractual agreements must be provided with 14 days notice. We ask for 7 days notice for any contract pausing or suspension due to illness, injury, or holidays.

Billing, returns and refunds

Late cancellations, less than 12 hours before a Personal Training appointment and less than 8 hours before a Group Training class, will incur the charge of a single session, and this charge will not be refunded.

Clients will not be refunded, nor will their contract be amended, if on one particular week they are unable to meet the number of sessions they signed up for.

If an amendment to an ongoing contract needs to be made, this will need to be communicated via email, 7 days prior to next billing period. Amendments or pauses to contracts may be made, at the latest, up to 2pm Friday of the week prior to billing period (at Uncommon Haus’ discretion).

Clients with automatic billing may incur a charge from Ezidebit if there are not sufficient funds in their account on the day of processing. Please ensure that you have adequate funds available for your membership fee to be processed.

Billing occurs every week, on a Monday.

Health and safety

By attending a session at Uncommon Haus, Personal or Group Training, you agree to adhere to hygienic practices such as using a sweat towel on shared equipment, and making use of the hand sanitiser and disinfectant wipes provided. This is to ensure your own and fellow members health and optimal training conditions.
